Big sisters in nursing provides leadership and mentorship to advance nursing practice and improve healthcare for all. We are actively engaged in the communities we live and serve.
The mission of the Big Sisters in Nursing, Inc. is to recognize, connect, and elevate current and future nurses through all levels by educating, connecting, and networking.
Selina Dallas aka Nurse Dallas is a registered nurse who is passionate about helping others. During the day she works in executive hospital administration and at night she is a warrior and advocate for current and future nurses. Selina has a background in emergency services, behavioral health, trauma, burn, and long-term care.
Nurse Dallas had the vision of starting Big Sisters in Nursing while she was attending Eastern Michigan University completing her bachelors of science in nursing. She is a dual masters prepared board certified executive nurse with a certificate in health care management. Nurse Dallas is the recipient of many awards for her leadership in the nursing field. She is excited about the future of Big Sisters In Nursing.
